ALEXANDRIA, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/31/14 -- Marathon Patent Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: MARA) ("Marathon"), a patent licensing company, announced today that the Company will issue financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2014 after market close on Thursday, August 14, 2014.

Marathon will host a corresponding conference call to discuss the results with Chief Executive Officer Doug Croxall and Chief Financial Officer Frank Knuettel II on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 4:30 PM ET/1:30 PM PT.
